Industrial Reportage Photography — McMillan Coppersmiths, Scotland
I spent a day inside the workshops of McMillan Coppersmiths in Prestonpans, photographing the people who hand-shape copper whisky stills for distilleries around the world. Commissioned by The Angels’ Share Journal, it was a gloriously loud and unpredictable shoot—hammer blows ringing out as welding arcs flared without warning. The images were later used more widely by Briggs of Burton, owners of McMillan Coppersmiths.
Reportage Photography — Honey Production in Serbia, commissioned by EBRD
I documented the beekeepers behind a thriving honey production tradition in Kragujevac, capturing portrait-driven reportage that reveals their expertise and hands-on work. Commissioned by the EBRD’s Youth in Business Programme, the series tells the human story at the heart of a 100% natural honey business
Reportage Photography — Fettercairn Whisky Distillery, Scotland
I spent a brilliant morning at Fettercairn Distillery in the foothills of the Cairngorms with Stewart Walker, the distillery’s manager. With 35 years of experience, he was the perfect person to explain how the distillery’s location and unique spirit stills—cooled by water trickling down the outside—combine to create Fettercairn’s light, fruity, tropical-flavored whisky. I captured candid, documentary photographs as part of a longer road trip around Scotland for Issue 2 of The Angel’s Share Journal.
Reportage Photography — St. George School, Romania (EBRD Green Cities)
At St. George School in Craiova, the first Romanian city to join EBRD Green Cities, I captured candid, authentic moments of students and teachers in classrooms, corridors, and playtime, highlighting the renewed energy and inspiration brought by renovations and sustainable improvements.
Event Reportage Photography — Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge at Houghton Hall, Norfolk
I photographed the charity gala at Houghton Hall, raising funds for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice. Using my storytelling approach, I captured candid moments of Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge interacting naturally with guests
Reportage Photography — GlenAllachie Whisky Distillery, Scotland
I spent a glorious day at GlenAllachie Distillery in Speyside photographing Billy Walker, one of whisky’s most renowned figures, along with his team. The series captures authentic, candid moments across the distillery — from the still house to the barrel stacks and water source — in a documentary, storytelling style. Originally commissioned for The Angels’ Share Journal, the images were later acquired by GlenAllachie for wider use.
Reportage Photography — Glen Scotia Whisky Distillery, Scotland
I spent a day at Glen Scotia Distillery in Campbeltown photographing master distiller Iain McAlister in a dunnage warehouse for The Angels’ Share Journal. Using natural window light, the series captures candid portraits as he talks through his whiskies, offering an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the man behind the revival of this historic whisky region.
Sports Reportage Photography — Team Wiggins for WHN Magazine, London
I spent a thrilling day following Sir Bradley Wiggins during the final stage of the Tour of Britain, capturing candid, sport-focused reportage for Hyundai’s WHN Magazine. Amid the crowds and high-speed racing, I photographed intimate moments of one of Great Britain’s most decorated Olympians.
Industrial Reportage Photography — Aircraft Engine Maintenance at AEC, Heathrow
I was recently commissioned by the Aero Engine Centre to document their highly skilled engineers at work in their vast Heathrow warehouse. The engines sit at the intersection of engineering and art—every part has a purpose, yet their scale and precision make them genuinely striking. The reportage series brings the brand to life by capturing the people and work behind it.
Artisan Craft Photography — Gavin Rookledge at Rook’s Books, Crystal Palace
I photographed Gavin working on his hand-crafted leather-bound books in his otherworldly studio in south London — a place that feels less like a workshop and more like stepping onto a film set. The images focus on the slow, tactile process of making, alongside small details that reveal the character of Rooks Books, including his leather-bound car, Miss Hepburnella.
